World Cement,
The Cherat Cement Company is expanding its existing cement works in Cherat, Pakistan, and is relying on a Pfeiffer MVR mill and MultiDrive®. The order was placed by the General Contractor TCDRI.
The Pakistani company focuses on innovation and so chose an MVR 6300 C-6 roller mill. The mill is designed to grind 365 tph of OPC to a fineness of 3200 cm²/g acc. to Blaine. Thanks to the double active redundancy – MVR roller mill and MultiDrive® – the mill achieves the maximum possible technical availability. The MultiDrive®, featuring a total drive power of 7800 kW, consists of four independent drive units.
The MVR mill will be delivered in 2018.
