Ekoplant to upgrade ESP to baghouse at Chakwal

Ekoplant has been awarded a contract from Pakistani cement producer, Best Way, to supply the upgrade of a raw mill electrostatic precipitator to a baghouse. The project will take place at the Chakwall cement plant.
The new baghouse will guarantee 10 mg/Nm3 dust emissions at the stack, compressed air consumption of 0.01 m3/m2/min. and an expected bag lifetime of more than 5 years. The baghouse will have a flow rate of 1.22 million mc/h with a maximum temperature of 260°C.
Ekoplant will supply complete engineering of the plant, as well as ID fan, motors, variable frequency drives, and transformers. The company supervise erection, commissioning, start-up and operator training.
