World Cement,
My Home Cement is taking the next big step in its growth strategy. To expand its presence in eastern India, a state-of-the-art plant for slag-based composite cement is being built. This underlines the My Home Cement's commitment to providing innovative and sustainable solutions for the construction industry.
Clinker will be transported from the plant in southern India to the new facility and combined with locally available blast furnace slag and fly ash from eastern India. The result: a resource-saving composite cement with a reduced clinker content – an important contribution to environmental sustainability and the reduction of the carbon footprint.
When choosing its technology partner, My Home Cement relied on proven quality, with Gebr. Pfeiffer supplying a high-performance MVR 6000 C-6 vertical roller mill with an impressive mill drive of 8200 kW. The decision is based on the excellent operating results of numerous MVR mills of similar size in the region. The scope of supply includes all components – from the raw material hoppers to the cement silos.
The project is being implemented in close cooperation between Gebr. Pfeiffer (India) Pvt. Ltd. and Gebr. Pfeiffer SE (Germany). All customer support and plant design is being handled by Pfeiffer's experienced engineers in Noida, India.
With this investment, My Home Cement is sending a strong signal for innovation, efficiency, and sustainability – and expanding its position in the Indian cement industry.
