Anjana Portland Cement commissions power plant

Indian cement company, Anjana Portland Cement, a subsidiary of Chettinad Cement Corp., has commissioned an onsite power plant in the state of Telangana in southern India.
According to an 11 January company release to the Bombay Stock Exchange, the company successfully commissioned the 16 MW coal-fired power plant at the company’s cement plant in the state.
The company’s shares opened higher on the news at INR171.95, after closing the day on 11 January at INR166.10.
