Ambuja Cement in top 10 of Global DJSI ranking

Ambuja Cement has gained a top 10 position within the DJSI ranking. Part of the global conglomerate LafargeHolcim, and one of the leading cement companies in India, Ambuja Cement has received this ranking due to its goal of sustainable development, as well as performing well in key parameters.
DJSI are benchmarks that use a best in class approach, to select sustainable leaders from various industries internationally.
“It is a moment of pride that our sustainability performance has been recognised globally,” said Ambuja Cement Managing Director, and CEO Ajay Kupar. “The high ranking in the most renowned DJSI reaffirms our commitment to the principles of sustainable development”.
Ambuja Cement has also recently received six other awards in the arena of sustainable development, as well as two prestigious awards at the international seminar, held by the National Council for Cement, and Building Materials.
