Lucky Cement completes new production line

Pakistani cement producer, Lucky Cement, has announced the completion of construction and installation work on a brownfield expansion at its Karachi plant. The additional production line adds capacity of 1.3 million tpy.
The new line was completed on schedule, beginning clinker production on 12 December 2017.
Coupled with a 0.3 million tpy capacity gain from efficiency improvements at the plant’s two other production lines, the company’s total production capacity now stands at 9.35 million tpy.
