Bestway plans new brownfield plant

Bestway Cement is to build a new brownfield cement plant at Farooqia in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan, the company announced in a statement to the Pakistan Stock Exchange.
The Karachi-based company has signed an agreement with Chinese engineering company, Sinoma International Engineering Co., to build the plant, which will have a capacity of 6000 tpd of clinker.
Bestway Cement is one of the largest cement makers in Pakistan with annual capacity of 6 million t.
