Terex Trucks to display articulated hauler at PlantWorx

TDL Equipment is to exhibit Terex Trucks’ upgraded TA300 articulated hauler, having sold its haulers and supported the company since 2000.

The hauler has recently been updated with a new transmission, which has led to improvements in fuel efficiency, performance, productivity, and operator comfort. This is when compared to the previous model working in the same application. The 28 t workhorse has eight forward gears and four reverse gears, helping to ensure smoother gear shifting. The maximum speed has also been increased from 50 km/hour (31 mph) to 55 km/hour (34 mph). The result is faster cycle times and a lower cost per tonne. The hauler is also equipped with independent front suspension as standard, further enhancing operator comfort, as well as enabling improved traction control and maximum productivity in the most challenging conditions.

“The upgraded TA300 delivers improved productivity, performance, and a 5% increase in fuel efficiency,” said Andrew Taylor, Dealer Principal at TDL Equipment. “Over the last few years, Terex Trucks has invested time and effort into further improving the quality of its haulers. The result is the upgraded TA300.”
