Menzel delivers custom replacement for failed compressor drive

World Cement,
The production of a British company was halted after the failure of a compressor drive left them without pneumatics. Menzel Elektromotoren GmBH used a suitable stock unit, and mechanically adapted the foot-mounted motor to include a recess that ensured an exact fit of the support, as the company had non-standard mounting specifications. The new motor was equipped with a special flange and support in Menzel’s metal-working facility. It was shipped within three days and enabled the company to restart the compressor soon after interruption.
As per customer specifications, the selected high-voltage motor features 560kW rated power, internal fan cooling (TEFC/IC411), and IP55 ingress protection. It was thoroughly tested prior to delivery.
