Slantsy cement plant tour for grandfather

Process control engineer of Peterburgtsement Anton Zorin held a tour of the Slantsy cement plant for his grandfather - Albert G. Petrov.
In the 1960s, at a time when the Soviet Union was revived in full-scale production after World War II, Albert Petrov was sent to study in the Novorossiisk cement mills at the driver. After 3 months of study he returned to the slate and started to work at the cement plant. He worked for more than 10 years as an engineer in the cement mills, and later, after retirement, for a long time worked at the same factory as a mechanic in the railway depot.
Knowing that his grandson working on a new cement plant for Peterburgtsement, the veteran expressed a desire to visit this enterprise.
Anton Zorin showed Albert Georgievich all manufacturing process stages of the enterprise: the rotary kiln, the central control unit, laboratory workshop and packaging.
