Cemex helps repair bridge

World Cement,
Volker Fitzpatrick needed to replace a small rail bridge deck in Norwich as the current deck had failed and a speed restriction needed to be put in place to safe guard the general public. Even though the pour was only 60m3, high importance was placed on it by both Volker Fitzpatrick and their client. As such, Niel Woolner and Tony Archer attended a meeting in London to discuss logistics with Cemex.
Cemex supplied the pour in mid-January, with the first load on site at 4am, due to concerns over high ambient temperatures. The customer was delighted with the service and contracts manager Mark Taylor passed on their thanks.
