World Cement,
Inform Software has chosen to be part of the German delegation for the German American Chamber of Commerce (GACC) US-German export initiative in Houston, Texas, from 3 – 7 April 2017.
Following its application to participate, Inform was notified in February that it had been selected as a delegate. The April programme will focus on making German expertise in energy efficiency available to the American port industry.
Inform’s Dr. Ingo Marko, Senior Consultant Logistics Division, will present how terminal optimisation improves energy efficiency in terminal operations.
Dr. Eva Savelsberg, Senior Vice President Logistics Division at INFORM commented, "We are honoured to be participating in the GACC export initiative in Houston. "Using Agile Optimisation Software, terminals are able to improve terminal efficiency which in turn improves energy efficiency. This has immediate flow-on effects for both environmental sustainability and the reduction of operating costs. "We have seen real growth in the North American market with both GCT and TraPac selecting Inform’s German expertise for optimisation at their terminals.”
