Sengileyevsk plant almost ready for commissioning

Eurocement’s Sengileyevsk plant is almost ready to be commissioned in the Ulyanovsk region.
Eurocement President Mikhail Skorokhod visited the plant to congratulate staff on all their efforts and to examine the new line. He said that the plant will become the leader in the production of building materials in Russia. He was joined on his tour of the plant by Governor Sergei Morozov, who investigated the environmental safety and social infrastructure provided by the plant. Governor Morozov commented that the commissioning of the plant will create more than 500 direct and indirect jobs.
The new plant uses the dry process to produce 1.2 million tpy of cement. The plant also has its own power plant with 26 MW capacity, which will provide the necessary heat and power.
