Risa AS has purchased nine new Doosan DA30-5 Stage IV/Tier 4 Final compliant articulated dump trucks from Rosendal Maskin AS, the Doosan and Bobcat dealer for Norway.
Risa purchased the company’s first DA30-5 ADT in 2014 and following successful tests of its performance against the equipment the company was using at the time, this was followed one year later by the acquisition of two more DA30-5s which were delivered during Spring 2015. This year Risa has taken delivery of two more DA30-5 machines, which arrived at the end of June and has placed a new order for seven more units which will bring the total of DA30-5 in the company’s fleet to 12. Risa also has a fleet of five Bobcat mini-excavators purchased from Rosendal.
Roy Haaker, Product Line Director for the Doosan ADT and wheel loader ranges in Europe, said: “We are very pleased to win this new order from Risa, based on the excellent experience they have had with our machines and the fantastic feedback on performance, uptime, easy operation and reduced fuel consumption, which has all contributed to more orders for our trucks.”
Jan Roger Lindseth, Sales Support Manager at the Doosan Infracore Norway manufacturing plant at Molde where the Doosan ADT range is produced, said: “We are delighted by the commitment provided by Doosan Bobcat EMEA and the role of our dealer, Rosendal, in winning back market share in Norway and elsewhere in Europe. It is of course very satisfying that we have the big contractors coming back to us to place new investment after testing out our new generation machines and the excellent service, up-time and low operation costs we offer ensure that these companies continue to purchase their products from Doosan.”
Like all of Doosan’s new Stage IV/Tier 4 Final machines, the design of the DA30-5 ADT goes far beyond just meeting the latest emission standards and incorporates many additional features and product improvements to establish a new benchmark in performance, fuel efficiency, enhanced controllability and high operator comfort, together with improved reliability, durability and reduced maintenance and servicing costs.
