Following its acquisition this year by A-Plant, Mather+Stuart Power Solutions has placed a number of orders for new equipment with Atlas Copco.

The order of generators from Atlas Copco comprises 40, 150 and 250 kVA sets, of which all sets above 100 kVA are fully synchronised. Mather+Stuart’s hire fleet has also been enhanced with 40 new Volt Safe systems.

Having worked closely with Mather+Stuart for a number of years, we are delighted they have once again chosen Atlas Copco generators to enhance their fleet. The small footprint, balanced weight and strong base frame ensure our QAS range of portable generators is easy to install, transport and store making them ideal for rental companies such as Mather+Stuart.” Says Gayle Palmer, Business Line Manager for Atlas Copco’s portable energy products in the UK.

Lee Stuart, Director of Mather+Stuart Power Solutions, says “this represents a huge investment which significantly enhances our hire fleet. For example, all generators are refinery specification to meet the needs of the industrial sector, plus our Volt Safe systems are unique to the industry and comprise a super-silenced generator and a triple bunded fuel tank housed within an anti-vandal steel container. They reduce noise to as low as 58 dba at 1 m, making them amongst the quietest machines across Europe and ideal for use on noise sensitive sites. It certainly is an exciting time for Mather+Stuart Power Solutions on a number of fronts, as we’re not only enhancing our fleet of equipment, we are also investing in our network of locations with significant expansion to offer nationwide coverage.”
