CeramTec Marktredwitz has once again supported the local vocational school in Marktredwitz, by donating €3000. This is the second time CeramTec has extended its support to the school, following a donation in kind of a piston pump worth €3000 to be used as a demonstration model for industrial mechanics. Representatives from the company presented the school with a cheque.
The donation will benefit both the school and the company itself, as it will be used to optimise the learning conditions of future professionals, who will later enter the local job market. More than just financial support in times of austerity, the money is also a recognition on the part of the CeramTec Executive Board of the valuable contribution that teachers make to society on a day-to-day basis.
“We have been working very successfully with the vocational school for many years now, so it is our great pleasure to pay tribute to this cooperation once again in this way,’ says Jürgen Christl, Head of Human Resources at CeramTec in Marktredwitz.
