World Cement,

Green’s has recently almost doubled the size of its design, engineering, and manufacturing facility, as well as investing in a new range of capital equipment. This is all to meet an increasing demand for its products from customers both in the UK and overseas.

Located in Wakefield, the Green’s factory now covers 8500 m2. The waste heat recovery specialist produces a wide range of bespoke boilers, economisers, air heaters, and other fabricated parts from this factory. The company has installed its products in 42 countries around the world.

“Last year we supplied products weighing over 3000 t, consisting of almost 100 000 tubes, and totalling over 3000 km in length,” said Matthew Crewe, Managing Director of Green’s. “Our extended and improved facilities will significantly boost our output, keeping us at the forefront of meeting increased demand from cement plants that want to recover waste heat efficiently, enabling them to maximise energy usage and cut costs.”
