CRH plc announces change of role for Board member

On 24 September the international building materials group, CRH plc, announced that the current President and Chief Executive of Oldcastle, Mark Towe, will assume the new role of Chairman, CRH Americas. He will work with the Group Chief Executive in order to support performance and excellence programmes across the Group. The appointment will be effective from 1 January 2016. Mark will also continue as an Executive Director on the Board of CRH plc.
This is the second appointment announced by CRH plc. in September, with the news that Senan Murphy will succeed Maeve Carton as Group Finance Director from 4 January 2016 being announced on 7 September.
