New appointments at Sandvik and Eagle Materials

Sandvik Construction has appointed Martin Friedl as Vice President Sales Area Central Europe, effective 1st September. Friedl succeeds Hans Schuller, who left the company in June. Friedl, who is currently Sales Area Manager for Russia, will continue his existing role in addition to his new responsibilities. He will report to Vice President Global Markets Northern and Central Europe, Harri Leinonen.
Meanwhile, Eagle Materials has appointed Richard Beckwitt to its Board of Directors.
“Rick brings a wealth of experience in the homebuilding business to the Eagle Board, along with superb operational and financial talents,” said Eagle’s Chairman Larry Hirsch. “We are confident that Rick will provide valuable input as Eagle continues on its dynamic growth path.”
Beckwitt is President of Lennar Corporation, which builds houses and communities across the US.
