thyssenkrupp appoints new member of its supervisory board

thyssenkrupp AG has appointed Martina Merz as a member of its supervisory board. Merz is already a member of the supervisory board of Lufthansa AG and other international companies.

Shareholder representatives on thyssenkrupp’s supervisory board followed a proposal by the nomination committee and recommended Merz as a new member of the supervisory board.

“With her expertise and experience, Merz is a competent addition to our supervisory board,” said Bernhard Pellens, Chairman of the supervisory board of thyssenkrupp. “We look forward to working with Merz and are confident that she will enrich the work of the supervisory board.”
