As part of the grand opening of its new industrial plant, Emiliana Serbatoi has celebrated 35 years of activity with almost 250 customers.

Emiliana Serbatoi is a manufacturer of tanks and advanced fuel solutions for the safe storage, transport, management, and supply of fuels and liquids. The company combines technical expertise and forward-looking business choices, which it believes has led to steady growth over the years.

In 2001, the company moved to its Campogalliano headquarters in Largo Maestri del Lavoro. In 2013, the company acquired a second manufacturing plant in San Donà di Piave, close to Venice. The company’s product range has also expanded from steel tanks to polyethylene tanks and high-tech solutions for fleet and levels management.

The company has also noted that, thanks to a constant investment in quality controls and management, it meets high quality standards. It has been awarded the Uni En Iso 9001: 2008 and approvals issued by Italian ministries, Tuv, Bureau Veritas, and Crif rating agency Cribis D & B. The company is also on the ‘white list’ of the Prefecture of Modena, selling products with the UN mark.

The company is now led by Gian Lauro Morselli and has achieved a turnover of €25 million, which is divided equally between the local and foreign market.

Measuring at 4000 m2, the company has stated that the new plant will pave the way for facing future challenges and globalisation of the market.

The grand opening of the plant was celebrated by a number of authorities, represented by the governor of the Emilia Romagna region, Stefano Bonaccini.

“We have really travelled a long way,” said Morselli. “My father Giancarlo and I kicked off the business 35 years ago with a small workshop in Sant’Anna street. Today Emiliana Serbatoi is an international reality, we export our products to all continents, we have two production sites in Campogalliano and San Donà di Piave, and another manufacturing plant has been set up. Every day we are a proud standard bearer of ‘Made in Italy,’ a winning mixture of creativity and quality that, combined with our professionalism, enthusiasm, and passion, we daily export worldwide.”

The company states that hard work, a worldwide sales network, technological avant-garde, and proactive customer care represent its backbone, enabling it to establish an international presence while still being rooted within its original territory.
