Vortex Global Ltd has been shortlisted as a finalist for the UK Materials Handling Engineers’ Association (MHEA) Excellence Award for Supplier of the Year. Based in Darlington, UK, Vortex manufactures solids and bulk materials handling components.

LeBlansch Bulkhandling Equipment B.V. nominated Vortex for the award. The Darlington-based company has worked with LeBlansch on a number of dry bulk material handling projects over the last decade, providing process solutions to industries, including cement, aggregates, industrial sand, and coal.

“Vortex has always strived to offer the correct equipment for even the most challenging applications put forward – while at the same times, continuing to provide quality components of a high standard,” said Jan de Blansch, over of LeBlansch Bulkhandling Equipment B.V.

Winners of the MHEA Excellence Awards will be announced at the second annual Excellence Awards Ceremony & Dinner in October. Other awards include Apprentice of the Year, Innovation, Project of the Year and the Harold Wright Lifetime Achievement Award.

The Excellence Awards Ceremony & Dinner will conclude BULKEX 2017, a two-day conference and exhibition, organised by MHEA and focused on the bulk materials handling industry.
