Powitec receives order for Leube GmbH
Powitec has received an order to equip the no.3 kiln at Leube GmbH’s cement plant Salzburg, Austria.
The scope of supply covers:
PiT Navigator (NMPC control): for calciner, kiln and cooler.
PiT Predictor (NOx forecast): correlated against the measured value at the bypass.
PiT Indicator (thermography): 3 sensors (sinter zone, igniting zone, cooler).
Kiln specifications are as follows:
- 2200 tpd (supplied by A TEC).
- 3.6 m dia., 45.5 m long.
- Preheater tower with 1 string/5 stages.
- Calcinator with tertiary air pipe.
- Grid cooler (CemProTec).
- Burner (ROCKTEQ).
The commissioning of the kiln is due to take place in October. Powitec will support the work from beginning with its software solution in the form of data mining (significance analysis), modelling, analysis of disturbance variables, scoring, etc. for a quick startup of the kiln.
After the calciner startup, the kiln and cooler will be transferred to full automatic control (PiT Navigator).
