World Cement,
In a show of solidarity with local dairy farmers, Tudor Griffiths Group has unveiled its unique new vehicle.
The company has invested in a new concrete truck that has been especially sign-written to resemble the markings on a Holstein Friesian cow.
Managing Director Tudor Griffiths said: “We’ve been in business for over 140 years and we’re based in the heart of rural north Shropshire, with many of our customers involved in the dairy farming industry. I felt it was important that we made a very visible gesture of our support for the agricultural sector in these tough times, and I’m sure our new-look truck will be the perfect way to draw attention to the plight of our country’s farmers.
“Our company employs more than 250 people in mainly rural areas, and so we have a lot in common with agricultural businesses – we also understand the trials and tribulations of running a company in today’s difficult financial climate in such a rural environment. It’s a great opportunity to assure our farming neighbours of our steadfast support and show our appreciation of their dedication and commitment to their industry.”
Greenhous DAF supplied the truck and truck sales executive Colin Moore said that they were please to have been involved.
“We are delighted to be working with Tudor Griffiths Group on such a high profile and worthwhile campaign. It’s great to see a local business showing its strong support for the farming industry.”
