Eurocement’s Mikhailovcement reports on a successful 2014

Eurocement’s Mikhailovcement, the largest cement producer in the Ryazan region, showed steady growth in all performance indicators in 2014. During the reporting period, the company produced 1.233 million t of clinker and 1.503 million t of high quality and environmentally friendly cement, a 4.4% (52 340 t) and 10.6% (144 200 t) increase, respectively, over the same period in 2013.

During the year, Mikhailovcement shipped 1.516 million t of cement to its customers, exceeding 2013’s result by 11.9% (161 474 t). Cement type CEM II/A-SH 32.5B accounted for more than half of total cement production at the plant. In 2014, the company produced 813 714 t of CEM II/A-SH 32.5B, 7.9% (59 369 t) more than the figure recorded in 2013. Furthermore, Mikhailovcement saw a 53.9% (136 558 t) y/y increase in the production of cement type CEM I 42.5 N, which totalled 389 814 t in 2014.

"The increase in demand for the company's products in 2014 was due to their high quality. Currently, our cement is in great demand among consumers in Moscow, the Ryazan, Tula, Vladimir and Ivanovo regions, and other areas of Russia where the company ships its products,” said Igor Nikolenko, General Director of Mikhailovcement.
