Aggregate Industries secures its first order with Historic Royal Palaces

Aggregate Industries has secured its first order with Historic Royal Palaces, with its products being used as part of a £1.5 million project at Hampton Court Palace. The company will deliver 2000 units of its Charcon range of StoneMaster® flag and block paving, covering 400 m2 of a new children’s play area called the Magic Garden. The new interactive play garden is being built on the site of the former Tudor Tiltyard and has been designed by Robert Myers.
Historic Royal Palaces selected Aggregate Industries’ product due to its high quality sandstone mix that replicates the appearance of natural granite and yorkstone, making it an ideal choice for this project. The Charcon StoneMaster product range includes up to 57% reclaimed and recycled materials and is available in a range of six buff and grey shades. The paving applied within the garden will mimic the sand colouring of the existing landscape of the grounds.
Aggregate Industries will deliver the order direct from its recently renovated Leighton Buzzard facility, with construction set to commence at the end of September, working towards a December 2014 completion.
