Volvo CE hosts Construction Climate Challenge

Volvo Construction Equipment is hosting a Construction Climate Challenge summit in Sweden. Industry representatives, academics and interested stakeholders will discuss the challenges of achieving sustainable construction at the summit.
The Construction Climate Challenge (CCC) initiative promotes sustainability throughout the entire construction industry value chain and provides much-needed funding for environmental research.
Martin Weissburg, President of Volvo Construction Equipment, will host the CCC summit in Gothenburg, Sweden, 24 June. Presenters include representatives from the Volvo Group, WWF, Stockholm Resilience Centre, European Commission, World Business Council for Sustainable Development, World Green Building Council and Building Research Establishment. Representatives from the Swedish Transport Administration, Swedish Energy Agency, local government in Gothenburg, Skanska, Balfour Beatty and HeidelbergCement will also be speaking at the event.
