Eurocement plant reaches 75 million t of clinker production

In mid-February Eurocement’s Ulyanovskcement reached 75 million t of clinker production since the plant began production. Also, since the beginning of the year, the company has shown a stready increase in cement shipments, having achieved a 4% y/y increase in sales in January alone. CEM I 42.5 N took the lions share of sales (67%), with 49 000 t out of the total 74 000 t sold. This is a marked increase on the 56% share in the same period last year.
Cement from the plant is sold throughout Russia, in the Republic of Tatarstan, Chuvashia, Mordovia, Mari El, as well as in Ulyanovsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Saratov, Samara and Penza region.
In 2015, Ulyanovskcement has entered the active phase of its large-scale investment project that will add a new 6200 tpd clinker production line.
