Steady production growth for Eurocement’s subsidiaries

Belgorodskiy Cement witnessed steady production growth in April 2014 compared to the same period last year. During the reporting period, the company produced 155 439 t of cement, a 6% (146 602 t) increase compared to April 2013.
The company observed growth in the demand for high quality PC-500-D0-N cement. In April 2014, 27 325 t of PC-500-D0-N cement was produced, 2.2 times (15 077 t) more than the amount produced during the same month in 2013.
Mikhailovcement
Mikhailovcement showed an increase in production levels in its results from May and the first five months of 2014. In May, the company produced 172 700 t of high quality and environmentally friendly cement, 40.3% (49 600 t) more than in May 2013. During the five months of this year, Mikhailovcement produced 583 200 t of cement, 14.4% (73 200 t) more than in January – May 2013. The company shipped its customers 181 289 t of cement in May 2014 and 601 862 t of cement in January – May 2014.
Cement type CEM II / A 32.5 B accounts for more than half of the total production. In May, the company produced 114 627 t of CEM II / A 32.5 B and in the first five months output was 333 349 t. This represents a 49.3% and 20.6% increase, respectively, compared to the same period a year earlier.
