Loesche holds first Technical Seminar in Düsseldorf
Technical Seminar
At the end of September, Loesche Training Centre held its first Technical Seminar in Düsseldorf, Germany. Over 30 people from around the world, including customers, suppliers and employees from Loesche subsidiaries, attended the one-day event. Following a welcome evening, during which attendees had the opportunity to tour the city’s old breweries, the seminar kicked off with six lectures on current grinding technologies. Philipp Fleiger, VDZ, compared different grinding systems, Dr Klaus Eichas, also of VDZ, gave a presentation on grinding plant optimisation, while Stefan Frankemölle spoke of gear box design, performance and monitoring. Loesche’s VRMs and hydropneumatic spring system were among the topics included in the other lectures presented at the seminar. The session was moderated by Dr Daniel Strohmeyer of Loesche’s Process Technology Department.
Appointments in India
Mr P. C. Abraham has been appointed as Managing Director of Loesche India Pvt Ltd. Abraham first joined the company in 1995, and helped to establish its Technical Field Services as Executive Director of the Technical Department. In addition, Mr A. C. Goyal is to be nominated as Director of Finance as part of the Indian subsidiary’s Board of Directors. Goyal also joined the firm in 1995, and is Executive Director of Finance, Administration, Human Resources and IT.
