HeidelbergCement has been honoured by the CDP as ‘Sector Leader Energy & Materials’ in the DACH region for further improving its climate reporting. With an overall rating of 99 A-, HeidelbergCement is one of the five best companies in the industry in Germany, Austria and Switzerland as well as among the top ten countries in the DAX.
The CDP measures the transparency and integrity of a company’s reporting on climate change. By reaching 99 out of 100 points in 2015, HeidelbergCement is part of the Climate Disclosure Leadership Index (CDLI) in the sector ‘Energy and Materials’. In contrast to the ‘Climate Disclosure Score’, the ‘Climate Performance Score’ evaluates the effectiveness of company action against climate change. In 2015, HeidelbergCement reached a rating of A-, a considerable improvement on its previous score.
