A replacement of Christian Myland will be announced in due course.
Christian Myland, CEO of thyssenkrupp Polysius, is stepping down from his position and leaving thyssenkrupp by mutual agreement to pursue new professional challenges outside the company.
Christian Myland had served as CEO of Polysius, business unit of the Decarbon Technologies segment, since 1 June, 2024. During this time, he played a key role in sharpening Polysius’ profile, advancing the development of future-oriented technologies, and strengthening and expanding its service business. Over the course of his 18 year career with the company, Myland previously held a range of positions and leadership roles in Germany and abroad, including at Uhde High Pressure Technologies, in the Steel segment, and in the automotive business. The Executive Board of thyssenkrupp Decarbon Technologies thanks Christian Myland for his valuable contribution and his great dedication to the repositioning of thyssenkrupp Polysius, and wishes him all the best in his future.
