Change to FLSmidth’s Executive Management
Group Executive Vice President of FLSmidth & Co. A/S, Christian Jepsen, will be resigning by July 2012. Jepsen has been in this role since 2005 after joining the company in 1990. He has led FLSmidth’s minerals activities since 2007, playing an instrumental part in growing the company’s minerals business and implementing its new strategy and organisational structure.
Group CEO, Jørgen Huno Rasmussen, said: "We regret that Christian Jepsen has decided to leave FLSmidth, however, sometimes you just have to pursue the good opportunities, and we are pleased that Christian is joining one of our major customers, and we wish him all the best and a lot of continued success."
Jepsen will continue to head the Bulk Materials Division as a member of Executive Management until his departure, by which time an internal replacement will be established.
