Kavkazcement has carried out the training of more than 250 specialists, allowing them to improve their skills and master new professions. The company has stated that a programme of modernisation of production and repairs requires qualified personnel, with the presence of a second speciality among employees allowing them to more effectively realise their potential.

Part of the EUROCEMENT group, Kavkazcement has therefore conducted a training programme for employees. This was with assistance from the employment services of the Ust-Dzhegutinsky district.

Participants in the programme learned new specialities that were in demand in the workplace and studied the normative legal acts in the field of labour protection, fire safety, and ecology. A third of the plant’s work team took part in the training and, on passing final tests, employees were given certificates.

For the purpose of professional development and involvement in innovation activities, in 2018 specialists of the EUROCEMENT group organised training, lectures, workshops, and senior management improved their skills in management and business economics.

“The system of vocational training and development in the EUROCEMENT group motivates employees and gives an opportunity for career growth,” said Zalina Kubanova, Head of the Personnel Department at Kavkazcement. “Our colleagues know that they are needed here and now, and that there is demand for their knowledge and skills. Training also contributes to the improvement of team spirit, which is manifested in high labour indices.”
