Estanda improves German cement mill

Published by , Assistant Editor
World Cement,

Estanda has carried out the assembly of different grinding components that it has supplied to a cement mill at a cement plant in Germany.

The project was performed on a ball mill for cement (CM10), with a 4.4m dia.. Estanda was also involved in the installation of a new intermediate IMPROVEST diaphragm, which incorporated new plate designs for the sides of both the first and second chambers of the ball mill and were made of high wear-resistant steels. This enables a better flow of material and extends the service lifespan of the plates.

Assembly was completed in January 2016.
