Lagan Cement and Quinn Building Products call an end to joint venture discussions

Quinn Building Products Ltd and Lagan Cement Group Ltd have called off discussions about a joint venture. The companies signed a Memorandum of Understanding regarding a potential collaboration in December 2012. The proposed venture would have involved a range of cement and building products businesses in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
