Material Evolution appoints Phil Litchfield to its Commercial Team to accelerate rollout of its ultra-low cement solutions

World Cement,

Material Evolution (Mevo) has appointed Phil Litchfield to its Commercial Team as Technical Sales Manager, strengthening the company's push to bring ultra-low carbon cement to market at scale.

Litchfield joins Ian St Hilaire and Richard Connell on the Commercial Team, adding to the significant concrete expertise within the company. He will have a particular focus on driving the adoption of MevoXL in semi-dry precast applications. MevoXL is a super accelerator that enables concrete producers to replace up to 95% of ordinary Portland cement with low-carbon supplementary cementitious materials (SCM). This approach is compliant with concrete code and helps manufacturers cut carbon without compromising on cost, performance, and time.

Phil Litchfield, Technical Sales Manager says: "Having worked across both the technical and sustainability sides of precast manufacturing, I've seen how much pressure producers are under to lower their carbon footprint without disrupting the processes and quality standards they rely on. Mevo's approach genuinely solves that problem, and I'm excited to help more of the industry make that switch."
