Construction equipment manufacturers expect growth
McKinsey has released its study “Reengineering construction equipment’. The study indicates that European manufacturers of construction equipment can expect an annual growth of 5 – 6% through 2020, and two percentage points in additional profit. The survey suggests that 69% of companies are optimistic about the future, with just one in ten predicting that their situation will worsen. Manufacturers specifically point to two primary opportunities: growth from markets outside Europe and the increasing importance of the aftermarket business. Six out of ten companies say these two developments represent the most important trends for the industry.
The report will be presented on 13 April, from 14.00 – 16.00 at the bauma fairgrounds in Munich, Press Center East, 2nd Floor.
