Since 2006, KHD has received multiple orders from the Turkish cement manufacturer, including one for a new 3500 tpd kiln line no. II at the Erzurum cement plant in the east Anatolian region of Turkey. This was ordered in 2006 and has been in operation since the end of 2007.

Additionally, a new PYROFLOOR clinker cooler was ordered at the end of 2008, after one year of trouble-free operation at Erzurum kiln line no. II.

Completing the order history was a new 3500 tpd kiln line at the Van cement plant in the east Anatolian region of Turkey, which was ordered in January 2011.

Commissioning of the plant, which will be erected near the existing 100 tph capacity Gümüshane cement grinding unit, is scheduled for the beginning of 2013.
