In July 2015, Siemens UK & Ireland is taking its Integrated Drive Systems (IDS) on a roadshow to UK manufacturers. The intention of the tour is to display how Integrated Drive Systems are an all-in-one solution that can increase productivity, reliability and efficiency for the mining and aggregates industries.
The roadshow features exhibits and live demonstrations that illustrate the competitive advantage to be gained from implementing matched drive and automation components.
The tour commences in Cambridge and finishes in Aberdeen. The roadshow will host three sessions in the morning and three in the afternoon on each day of the tour. These will focus on IDS in conjunction with conveyor technology, bulk material handling and pumps, fans and compressors. There will also be opportunities for more in-depth discussion around key issues such as IE3 & energy efficiency and integrated safety.
The roadshow will also provide advice and guidance on the services available to support IDS including financial assistance, preventative condition monitoring and training.
