Cement factsheet: Russia, CEE and CIS
The January 2015 issue of World Cement, which is now available online, includes a regional report on the cement sector in Russia, the CIS and CEE. In addition to our monthly regional factsheet (which you can download below), the feature comprises an abridged extract from a 2014 EY report, in which Denis Borodenok and Evgeni Khrustalev provide an overview of the cement industry in Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan. In addition, Giovanni Battista Auxilia and Stefano Comoglio, Buzzi Unicem, Italy, outline recent modernisation projects to increase alternative fuels storage and handling capacity at Cement Hranice in the Czech Republic.
