Peterburgtsement demonstrates steady growth

The President of the Eurocement Group Mikhail Skorokhod held a visiting meeting with Peterburgtsement and the staff of the plant during a visit to the Leningrad region.
Peterburgtsementa were evaluated positively at the eight month close of 2015 with special praise afforded to the harmonious and effective attitude of the plant.
“The company shows strong growth performance and consistently high product quality, partly due to a close-knit team of highly professional worker. Today, the team is facing new tasks and new challenges - in the next year Peterburgtsement will reach the historical record and produce 1.86 million t of cement”, said Mikhail Skorokhod.
Reducing costs and consistently high product quality, according to the President of the Holding Company, will allow Peterburgtsementu to increase its market share in the Leningrad and neighbouring areas and reduce imports of inferior quality cement from neighbouring countries.
In addition, during his visit Mikhail Skorokhod announced the appointment of a new CEO - Dmitry Zibaeva.
Introducing the new leader, Skorokhod said that Mr Ziba is an experienced manager who has considerable experience in the industry and in-depth knowledge of all processes of cement production.
