World Cement,
Sandvik has announced that it will be exhibiting at the expanded Hillhead 2016 exhibition as a continuation of the strategy to focus on more locally oriented activities. Sandvik hopes that this will bring it closer to the needs of its customers, wherever they operate in the world.
By exhibiting at Hillhead Sandvik will be putting its products and services in front of more than 17 000 industry visitors from across the quarrying, construction and recycling industries. . As the biggest exhibition of its kind in the world, set in the stunning and unique surroundings of a limestone quarry, Hillhead is focused on the real requirements of these businesses.
The opportunities afforded by such an exhibition will enable Sandvik to emphasise areas of expertise and service that transcend the traditional supplier-customer dynamic. This is due to Hillhead being quite rightly seen as the perfect place to introduce new solutions based equipment, as well as connect with our customers in a quarry environment.
Hillhead 2016 will see us highlight the total solutions nature of Sandvik’s product ranges, with many old favorites being shown. Additionally a number of UK and world product launches are planned, as well as live demonstrations of mobile crushing and screening equipment being held in front of the stand. Sandvik believes that the working demonstration areas are what make Hillhead so special as visitors have the opportunity to see the crushing and screening equipment in a ‘live’ quarry environment.
“What is really exciting is that Hillhead 2016 will enable us to get ever closer to our customers. As our focus is oriented to more locally focused activities, Hillhead 2016 will provide the perfect opportunity to show how we aim to meet the real needs of our customers, in this case mainly UK & Irish businesses,” says Satu Ramo, Global Marketing Communications Manager, Sandvik Construction. She continues, “Local events such as Hillhead will bring us closer to our customers, presenting the perfect opportunity for us to listen, learn and adjust our offering to better reflect their day to day realities.”
