Nord Drivesystems to showcase products at Hannover Messe

Nord Drivesystems will present drive functions for smart factories at the 2016 Hannover Messe exhibition, showcasing for example new approaches to condition monitoring and predictive maintenance, as well as advanced automated control functions of the latest electronic drive units, which feature an integrated PLC. The availability of economic, simple solutions allow users to utilize the potential of smart manufacturing and the Internet of Things. At the mechanical end of the product spectrum, the latest additions to the Nord gear line-up mechanical end of the product spectrum, the latest additions to the NORD gear line-up include single-stage helical inline gears primarily for use in pump, mixer, fan, and conveyor applications. Industrial gear units in size 14 extend the existing program and allow for even more precise drive configurations in the high torque range. Honouring this year's Hannover Messe partner country, the USA, NORD Gear, the international group's US subsidiary, has dispatched staff with specialist know-how for this market to the exhibition stand.
