New cement plant proposed for Bosnia Herzegovina
According to local media reports, Turkey’s GIMAS has met with representatives from the municipality of Gacko, Bosnia Herzegovina, to discuss the possibility of setting up a cement plant in the region. The project would be carried out within the next few years and construction is estimated to take around 26 months to complete. Gacko is endowed with significant reserves of fuels and raw materials such as limestone, clay, marl and coal.
