Beumer Group has received an order from Mostostal Krakow SA, as a general contractor, for the delivery of four high-capacity belt bucket elevators for the LafargeHolcim Ltd. cement plant in Kujawy, Poland. It is part of a project to improve the production and quality of cement blends.
Mostostal Krakow SA will provide LafargeHolcim with cement silos, as well as the corresponding conveying technology. The high-capacity belt bucket elevators from Beumer Group have a conveying capacity of 350 tph, which is ensured by the special design of the steel wire belts.
Beumer Group’s Center of Competence (CoC) for the cement industry is responsible for the project, and was able to implement the specific design criteria precisely.
The systems will go into operation at the end of 2017.
