Katavsky Cement supports young journalist competition

At the end of January the final of the 22nd Regional competition for young journalist ‘Zhurnalenok’ took place. For the sixth time, Katavsky cement supported the festival.
The competition brought together over 50 students from 7 schools district. The young reporters attended workshops conducted by regional experts in the field of mass media and representatives of the media sphere. These meetings with professionals were also open to another 30 students from the neighbouring college.
A few weeks before the festival, young correspondents from different educational institutions throughout the district prepared material for the competition. Two of the nominations were related to the cement plant, with one piece on the future of cement, and another on ‘People – the wealth of the company’. Katavsky cement has prepared certificates and gifts to the winners of the awards, as well as to encourage the participants.
Katavsky Cement has supported the regional festival of young journalists for the past six years and closely monitors the progress of the participants.
