Eurocement’s Filaret Galchev meets Head of Republic of Mordovia

Eurocement Chairman Filaret Galchev and the Head of the Republic of Mordovia, Vladimir Volkov, met on 6 July for a working meeting in which they discussed key areas of cooperation and prospects for the further development of Mordovcement.
Mordovcement is one of the largest plants in Russia, employing more than 1600 people. Eurocement has so far invested more than 500 million rubles in improvements to Mordovcement, including improving equipment performance, reducing specific fuel consumption and optimising logistics. Galchev said that the company will continue to work with the administration to make a significant contribution to Mordovia’s socio-economic development.
One of the arenas for the 2018 World Cup is being built in the city of Saransk in Mordovia. It will have a capacity of 44 000 people and requires an investment of 15 million rubles.
