DEBAUKOM 2016 enlarging industrial construction exhibition area

World Cement,

Industrial construction is one of the pillars of DEBAUKOM. After the successful premiere last year, the trade fair for architecture, the housing industry and industrial construction in Western Germany and the Benelux states will enlarge this exhibition area for the event at Messe Essen from 13 – 16 January 2016. Thus, innovative solutions for building services equipment as well as the heat and energy supply to industrial and commercial buildings will be shown in the Industrial Construction competence centre for the first time.

With this focus, the fair will form a unique platform for industrial construction – a branch of the economy with great significance. Ever year, production halls, logistics buildings and office and administration buildings, as well as workshops and laboratories worth billions are constructed in Germany. In addition, there are major investments in measures for the existing stock of buildings. DEBAUKOM will offer companies from all fields of industrial construction the possibility of presenting themselves to the trade public at Messe Essen. Here, it will be possible to find products for roofs and facades as well as industrial floors, construction and insulation materials or complete system building solutions for the special requirements of industrial construction. In 2016, the fair will also be opened up to exhibitors dealing with all aspects of building technology for industrial buildings. Building services equipment, as well as system solutions for heat and energy supply, will be the main focal points in this respect. These will include not only energy-efficient hall heating and ventilation systems but also intelligent facades for heating or cooling, economical lighting systems or even smoke and heat extraction systems.

In 2016 the Industrial Construction competence centre will be located in Hall 1, in the direct vicinity of the IT competence centre. That will create additional synergetic effects because software solutions and new planning procedures such as ‘BIM – Building Information Modelling’ will become increasingly significant in industrial construction, too.
