Mordovcement, a part of Eurocement Group, has completed the implementation of a new mobile equipment monitoring system. The mobile monitoring system is designed to control the functioning of equipment around the plant.
The system is based on NFC tags on the equipment to be monitored. These can be read by mobile data collection devices by technicians in the field. Information collected by the mobile devices is transferred back to the central database.
The introduction of the system will make it possible to significantly improve the efficiency, accuracy, and reliability of the plant, said Chief Engineer of Mordovcement, Yevgeny Bliskunov.
